Dr. Kauffman is originally from Etters, PA. At a young age he had an inherent drive to help others from watching his parents go out of their way to help family, friends and neighbors. His interest for the Physical Therapy Field developed after hearing stories his grandmother often shared from her days as an Occupational Therapist and the deep impact she made on her patients’ lives. During his undergraduate career at Bloomsburg University, he decided to follow in his grandmother’s footsteps to devote himself to helping others and choose to pursue his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Dr. Kauffman moved to the Philadelphia area for his post-graduate studies at Widener University and dove headfirst into the field to learn as much as he could from his incredible professors and clinical opportunities surrounding him. At Synergy Physical Therapy, Dr. Kauffman’s approachability and sense of humor allow him to instantly form a connection with his patients. Outside of the office, you can find him cycling on the Schuylkill River Trail, watching his favorite NFL team (the Jacksonville Jaguars), or fishing (at least trying to) off the New Jersey coast.
